Thank you, I studied at the art school of Kalinin, and then MGHPU of Stroganov. I started making a design, a mosaic while studying at the company firstly, and then independently in 2007. Here is a little-talk about mosaic. I was busy with it. It is really quite difficult to cut tiles by squares. For this deal, I was cutting tiles by strips 2 cm with a tile saw it was real. I decided to make a bench made of an old concrete sill and decorate it with mosaic tiles. I have already laid some part of the picture on a wooden board, not thinking about the time when I would transfer it to the bench. Read the whole topic there was the advice to fix pieces by tape. I have a table of the same type. Heavy wooden legs, a table top 90/90 from plywood framed with a wooden edging about 1.5 cm. Sliding halves under the table (an unfolded table 90/180). A plywood on the main table top stratified on one side. Here, I think it to remove and choose between three options.

I love this forum; I read it all the time. And your art works inspired me to make my own idea. I decided to mosaic walls of my house. The work with a ladybug is my second, and a mosaic with a sun and a flower- third one. I cut tiles with something was at hand – a glass cutter, it takes a very long time, and the glass cutter was broken all the time, and the background of two panels of the bat I made from broken tiles, but I just did not like the end the method because there was a lot of waste. I made it so. I only gather fragments of 60 to 60 gathered at the table. Then they tape the tape, flip, coated with glue, I immediately smeared the wall and pasted. Normal tile glue. Let me agree with you now. There are real masterpieces in this topic, but basically, I personally, admire by the work, rather than an aesthetic pleasure. Besides, I am embarrassed by the fact that such a monumental mosaic eventually tired and the author grows up his work and then, the early works will irritate your imperfections, and there will be a pity to dismantle the expended labor.
I'm also going to make a "mosaic" of the broken tiles for a blind area. True, the mosaic will be conditional and the color of tiles will be white, beige and gray, and the fragments form is rectangular square (I will just cut off the uneven chips).
