I made a "scientific experiment" with a diode lamp 12 volt 3 watt (3 diodes of 1 W, Japanese diodes Nichia). In fact, the current consumption of 270 mA - 350 mA from the documents.
The lamp is designed as a standard galogen. The cap GU5.3, the form factor of MR16. It is inserted into a regular lamp MR16 mortise of a half dollar.
According to the documentation it has luminous flux of 250 lumens.

I didn’t consider the fluorescent cost-effective lamps, because they are too Chinese and die faster. For the price, they are not a fountain too. And to climb under the eaves with a ladder and to change the lamp, even once a year, as there is no desire!.

The strawberries:
A few words about a remontant strawberry, called as Albion.
We planted for the experiment 15 shrubs on October, last year, and weren’t mistaken!.
The first harvest we gathered by the late date of strawberries – a second half to the end of June.
The feature of this class that berries are large and very dense.
Now, we are collecting a second crop.
The strawberries are going to blossom again at the third time.
